Here’s the year’s first edition (ugh, I hate to have to say that in September): “Foundation,” 4″ x 6″, intaglio, 2014. I haven’t figured out the edition size yet (probably seven or eight), but this is what it looks like:
This is one of those pieces of artwork that can be taken either way: a revolution begins with one stone thrown, but a building’s foundation also begins with one brick (or whatever the hell people make building foundations out of). So chew on that, and just know that I’m happy to finally have completed something, and that I’m going to spend the rest of the year finishing off old, half-finished prints, and getting started on some new work.
And, if you’re interested in picking up one of these prints, send me an e-mail (or leave a comment), or it’ll be up in the soon-to-be-restocked Reverend Clay’s Finer Things.
